Most people ask "What is the difference between managed and non managed web hosting?"

Well, there is a BIG difference. On the surface it looks like there may not be much difference other than price.

Non Managed Hosting means YOU control all aspects of your hosting account. If you need to add email accounts or create a forwarder or clean up your account by removing stagnant data, you perform this yourself. Of course we will be glad to perform this for you but you will be charged by the hour at a rate of $40/hour billed to your credit card on file. Keep in mind $40/hour is a really inexpensive hourly price compared to others. We give this discounted rate to our hosting clients. Otherwise clients not hosting with Kship pay $79.96/hour.

Managed Hosting means Kship will handle your needs like things mentioned above and provide the hourly support needed based on the managed plan you choose. Kship has been in the hosting business for 11 years now and we have determined that most business clients do not have the time nor the knowledge to handle things associated with their email/hosting accounts.

When you choose one of our Managed Hosting Plans you can be assured when you need something done it will get done in a timely manner. We understand your time is limited and all you want is to know that your email and hosting elements are working properly and when new employees come and go things need to be removed and updated. Allow Kship to handle these things for you and have the piece of mind knowing it will be done right.
